Kaʻū

Isla Custom Coffees has always been proud to highlight and showcase coffees from the Ka’u coffee region of Hawai’i, still one of the largely unknown gems of the specialty coffee world.  

Ka’u coffees are known for their rich, smooth flavors, and the Ka’u Typica is known for its citrus and floral flavor.  The region is growing, with almost 1500 acres in production currently – up from 400-500 from a decade ago – and features other wonderful varieties, like Red & Yellow Caturra, Pacamara, Red and Yellow Bourbon, and Maragogype.
