MH Coffee Farm Family

Farm History

Sergio Reyes and his daughter, Leslie Reyes, have worked with other Ka’ū coffee farmers since 2015. They spent 5 years picking up valuable experience before the opportunity to have their own Ka’u coffee farm came around in 2020…and it was then that Sergio’s advice made all the difference.

“He was always saying ‘las oportunidades solo ahí una’ which means “there’s only one opportunity. if we didn’t take it we wouldn’t have had another one, so we took it,” said Jose’ Luis Hernandez, Leslie’s husband.

The family took Sergio’s advice and started MH Coffee Farm in 2020. “We started with only 5 acres, which we worked so hard to make what it is now,” says Jose’.

Today MH Farm features 20 acres of catuai, caturra, and typica.
